Big House Dreams - I love Sara Mae, the central character in this generational story. We follow her from a childhood filled with tragedy to the birth of her daughter, Sheila.  Sara is a much better mother and their life is pretty normal. We then experience Sheila's life and the birth of her daughter.  Life is full of twists and turns but these ladies meet it head on with the help of their friends.  A good story for all ages. 

This was a nice way to begin 2014.
